Hatem Abu Chakra, a struggle that started with the start of the revolution and is still going on

Not everything that is published on media websites is true. There are always those who are affected and haters who do not want anyone to succeed and excel in his tasks because they simply were unable to overcome the difficulties that require at the moment of sacrificing their 

souls for the victory of the nation. 

Just for historical authenticity, before I wrote this brief, I intentionally read what was published against a revolutionary man, whose main weapon is his belief in the dignity of his people and the freedom of these people. I found that all the accusations that were promoted in the media were accusations aimed at offending a revolutionary struggle that this man fought for. 

Accusations from a network of correspondents, who are they? Whom do they serve? And where were they? And how were they able to know details that only those who did it can know? Especially, they are accusations aimed at destroying the ability to insist on the struggle.

I met Hatem Abu Shakra in 2019. I did a press interview with him. I asked him my provocative questions, and his calm smile was preceding his answers. He denied the existence of prisons and detention centers in which innocent people are thrown. He said literally, we are a revolutionary faction, and the fighters of Ahrar al-Sharqiyah must abide by strict disciplines, and thus no one is above the behavioral and revolutionary discipline. 

Before I met Abu Hatem Shakra, I browsed through his career and what was published about him on the Internet through sites that did not adopt absolute objectivity about the career of the struggle of this revolutionary. I also read what his enemies published about him, such as the journalists of the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces, and it became clear to me that they adopt a policy (to make a mountain out of a molehill). This is in order to incite their American employees to antagonize him 

because he leads a revolutionary faction that is defending his eastern region’s region, which these transnational militias have extended their influence. Here, they worked on falsifying and fabricating to accuse him of committing crimes against humanity, of which he is innocent, and it was 

not proven and he is innocent. 

The Americans fell into the trap of the fabrications and lies of the SDF. They did not prove to be true but adopted the fabrications of militias that have always been the enemy of the Syrian people. They do this only 

to impose sanctions on a revolutionary who did not commit any violation of human rights, and for this reason, the Americans, who are advocates of freedom, are required to remove the name of Abu Hatim Shaqra and his companions from their sanctions list. 

For those who do not know, Abu Hatem Shaqra hails from the Al Hays family, which inhabits the village of Shaqra, which is located about five kilometers from the center of Deir Ezzor, on the left bank of the Euphrates River toward the west. Abu Hatem Shaqra belongs to an authentic subfraction of the famous (Al-Bakkara) tribe, which is the “Al Bomaish” sub-clan. This family is kind and generous. The members of this sub-clan work in agriculture and its young people are studying in universities. 

Abu Hatem was brought up in the midst of this large family and clan, to respect human values and refuse to attack others for any reason. Therefore, his upbringing in his childhood formed the moral foundations that he carries with him in war and peace. Perhaps I am not exaggerating if I say that my relationship with a good number of The Hayes family extends back to the early seventies of the twentieth century. 

That is why Abu Hatim does not improvise his attitudes He usually makes his judgments and decisions after studying them and consulting his friends and knowledgeable relatives. Such a way of solving issues and leading his military movement (Ahrar al-Sharqiyah) indicates a deep awareness and a well-established culture of the concept of modern management and the essence of leadership. 

Moreover, this family has the culture of the Arab tribes that reside on both banks of the Euphrates River, from its entry into Syrian territory until its exit to Iraq. This family is distinguished by its hospitality and generosity, which is why Abu Hatim is characterized by such outstanding qualities. He always gives a helping hand to those in need as long as he can. 

Abu Hatem Shakra, a young man enthusiastic about getting rid of the oppression of the Assad regime, found himself joining the Ahrar al Sham faction, which was in the area. This is normal in the absence of a revolutionary faction that expresses the aspirations of the people of the eastern region of Syria, but the developments of the conflict in that region required the formation of revolutionary factions that would defend their popular embrace, and thus the “Ahrar al-Sharqiyah Movement” was 

formed through the union of revolutionary factions and battalions, and then it was time for the largest and most important step. it is the formation of a revolutionary political and military framework under the name: (The Liberation and Construction Movement). This means a strategic awareness of the future role of this movement, which belongs to the Syrian National Army of the Interim Government, so the leaders of this movement discovered the importance of the political role in developing their areas in the three governorates (Deir Ez-Zor, Raqqa, and Hasaka). 

The successes of Ahrar al-Sharqiyah against the so-called “State of Iraq and the Levant” in the regions of northern Syria disturbed many because they were unable to carry out this revolutionary effort, and this is what drove them to lay false accusations against the leader of the movement, who was not only daring and willing to sacrifice, but also to insist to knock out the authoritarian regime. Perhaps the most affected by the revolutionary effort of the Ahrar al-Sharqiyah faction were ISIS and the separatist forces that came together under a false name (Syrian Democratic Forces). 

Ahrar al-Sharqiyah stood against the separatist schemes of SDF, and perhaps the movement’s awareness of the importance of integrating the factions of the eastern region is what pushed it to this unity because liberating the eastern region requires a strategic vision and the mobilization of everyone’s efforts. 

Hatem Abu Shakra, who is now the deputy commander-in-chief of the Liberation and Construction Movement, did not come to the revolution and its struggle out of luxury or personal benefits. His family, the Al-Hays family, owns large and productive areas of agricultural land, and for this reason, its struggle was based on an honest national struggle. 

The false reports adopted by Brett McGurk about what he falsely called human rights violations that Ahrar al-Sharqiyah, in the person of its leader, had committed, were nothing but false reports fabricated by the separatist SDF forces in order to curb the struggle of a revolutionary faction belonging to the eastern region and posing a threat to the existence of these separatist forces in eastern Syria. 

Brett McGurk, with his public statements, was standing in support of the separatist forces called (the SDF), to annoy Turkey, and an attempt to draw a “Kurdish” state on the size of the Turkish Kurdistan Workers’ 

Party (PKK) so that, they fabricated lies about a man of Syrian blood, who loved his country’s freedom from tyranny. 

The Americans’ attempt to circumvent the rights of Syrians defended by Abu Hatem Shakra and the Liberation and Construction Movement is an attempt that they realize was linked to their alignment with forces that play a functional role in serving their goals, and this is what makes the Americans a reason to fabricate serving unjust goals despite Their bravado about defending human rights, which they ruthlessly crushed in Japan’s Hiroshima and Nagasaki. 

What is required from America is to cooperate with the struggling peoples not support the transnational and humanitarian gangs.
